This tool needs JavaScript. Our hardy citrus are grouped in a single category, and each product page gives the hardiness, ripening period and uses of the fruit.
How the tool chooses
It starts from the hardiness given on each product page and from the ripening dates recorded at the nursery, near Toulouse.
- It keeps the plants available today that are hardy enough for your cold, ripen in the season you want, and belong to the families and uses you fancy.
- It ranks them: shared uses first, then the harvest season, then the hardiness margin (a plant hardy to 3 °C below your cold comes before one right at the limit).
- It varies the families: your three suggestions are not three oranges, unless oranges are all you ticked.
If no available plant meets all your conditions, it leaves aside the season, then the family, then the use, and tells you so.
